Bursary System

Feature Summary

The bursary feature allows attendees to apply for financial assistance directly through the event platform. Organizers can review, approve, or reject applications to ensure accessible participation for all.

Who can use this feature

All organization members are allowed to enable and review bursaries

How to enable bursaries
  1. Create or Edit an Event
    Begin by creating a new event or editing an existing one.
  2. SelectToggle ifon its“Bursary Request”
    Enable the bursary option to allow attendees to apply for financial support.

  3. Choose Bursary Type

    • Choose Your Amount: Attendees can request a chosecustom youramount.

    • Set Amount: You define a fixed amount bursaryper orbursary.

  4. Set the Amount (if it isusing a setfixed amount
  5. If it is for a set amount selectbursary)
    Enter the amountvalue to be awarded per approved request.
  6. Add a descriptionDescription (if using a fixed bursary)
    Provide context or eligibility criteria for the bursary.
  7. Optional(Optional) addAdd moreMore Bursary Options
    Include additional bursary optiontypes or tiers if needed.

  8. Save changes/Changes / Create Event
    Finalize your event setup with bursary options included.
Review Bursary requests
  1. Navigate to the Transaction tab
  2. Click on the Bursery Requests tab
  3. Find the bursery you would like to review
  4. Click on details
  5. Review the request
  6. Approve or reject the request
