Creating an Event

Feature Summary

This guide walks you through the steps to create a new event in TriEventTriEvent, including adding event details, setting up ticket tiers, and enabling optional features.

Who can use this feature

 

Steps to Create an Event
  1. LoginLog in to your organization
    Make sure you're signed into your organization’s dashboard.
  2. Navigate to the Events Dashboard
    Use the sidebar to access the Dashboard section.
  3. Click "Create Event"
    Select the Create Event button to begin setting up a new event.
  4. Fill in Event Details
    Provide the following information:
    1. TitleTitle: The name of theyour event
    2. Description: A short description of the event
    3. DateDate: ofThe day the event takes place
    4. LocationLocation: ofWhere the event is being held
    5. Start and endEnd timetime: ofWhen the event begins and ends
    6. Contact emailEmail and& phonePhone: numberFor attendee questions or concerns
  5. Create your ticket tiers

    • You can haveadd multipleone differentor tiers ofmore ticket fortiers. For each tiertier, fill out:
      1. The name
        1. Name of the tierTier (e.g., General Admission, VIP)
        2. ThePrice: PriceCost of theper ticket
        3. ADescription: descriptionDetails about what this tier includes
    • Optional Features
      Enable additional tools as needed:
  • Bursary System: Allow attendees to request a bursary   
  • Optional:Publish Enablethe to-doEvent
